How PET bottles are made
From preform to bottle.
Heating
Preforms travel past infrared heaters until the plastic is soft enough to stretch.
Stretch & blow
Inside the mould, a rod stretches the warm preform and high-pressure air blows it out into the bottle's shape.
Cool & release
The bottle cools against the mould walls, sets into its final shape and is released.
Check & pack
Finished bottles are checked and packed for dispatch — clean, empty and ready to fill.
